Album na netu, nikad lakše - Picasa Web Album

Koliko ste puta poželeli da slike iz svog računara postavite na web? Vratili ste se sa letovanja i svoje slike jednostavno želite da podelite sa prijateljima koje ste upoznali na moru, ali oni su daleko od vas. Danas je postavljanje fotografija na web vrlo jednostavno. Google sistem je, osim dobro nam poznatog Gmail-a i još poznatijeg pretraživača, kreirao i servis Picasa Web Album.


Korisnik Picasa Web Albuma može da bude svako ko ima Google nalog, na primer registrovan e-mail na Google-u, i takav nalog se registuje „na jedan klik”. Ukoliko ne posedujete Google nalog, registracija je za nijansu složenija. Nakon registracije dobijate prostor od 1 gigabajta za postavljanje slika. Vaša galerija će se naći na adresi http://picasaweb.google.com/username. Galerija ima hijerarhiju, stoga se sastoji iz više albuma, a svaki album iz više slika. Slike u galeriju mogu da se postavljaju na 2 načina. Prvi je putem sajta. Nakon logovanja na galeriju, sa leve strane se nalazi korisnički meni putem koga se kreiraju albumi i postavljaju slike. Drugi način, koji celu priču i čini vrlo zanimljivom, je putem programa Picasa (trenutno aktuelna verzija 2.6) koji možete da skinete upravo sa sajta galerije.

Picasa predstavlja jednostavan program za organizaciju slika, a karakteriše ga izuzetan dizajn. Prilikom prvog pokretanja program će da skenira sve slike u računaru, tako da je naknadna manipulacija sa slikama vrlo jednostavna. Najbitniji deo priče predstavlja upravo opcija Picasa programa da odabrane slike iz računara direktno postavlja u vaš Picasa Web Album. Jednostavno odaberete više slika (CTRL + klik na slike koje birate) i pritiskom desnog tastera miša na odabrane slike otvorite opciju Upload to Web Album. Pretpostavka je da ste u tom trenutku povezani na internet. Nakon odabira te opcije otvara se prozor u kome birate album u koji šaljete slike, opis albuma i kompresiju slika . Orijentacije radi, ukoliko kompresiju podesite na srednji nivo (1024 pixela), a posedujete sporiju vezu (50k), upload jedne slike će da traje oko minut i po.

Na prezentovane načine vrlo jednostavno možete u vašu Web Galeriju da postavite veliki broj slika. One tako postaju objavljene, odnosno deo interneta. Međutim, ukoliko želite da postavite privatne slike u vaš Web Album i želite da album ne bude javan, pri kreiranju je potrebno da odaberete opciju “Unlisted” umesto “Public”. Na taj način kreirani album se neće naći na vašoj stranici galerije, ali vi ćete kao administrator da imate pristup konkretnoj privantoj galeriji. Album u suštini postoji na internetu, ali može da mu se pristupi jedino direktnim linkom koji zna samo vlasnik galerije (putem opcije MyPhotos) i koji je tipa
http://picasaweb.google.com/username/nazivAlbuma?authkey=BxULmf.

Što se samih posetilaca vaše galerije tiče, oni imaju mogućnost pregleda slika, ostavljanja komentara na sliku (potrebno je da imaju google nalog), kao i download cele galerije. Gledano sa programerske strane, Picasa Web Album je urađen prema najnovijim internet standardima (AJAX). Pri pregledu slika, dok posmatrate sliku 1, u pozadini će se učitavati ostale slike iz galerije, tako da će prelazak na narednu sliku biti brz jer će ona već da bude učitana. Ukoliko, kao posetilac, nemate određen album koji biste želeli da posetite, možete da se upustite u pretragu slika što predstavlja i najveću draž Picasa Web Albuma. Uz pomoć ključnih reči možete da dođete do izuzetno lepih fotografija. Potpuno je jasno da je poruka Picasa Web Albuma: “Uživajte u multimediji!”
